A few months worth of updates

I am not sure where to begin, there is so much to say, so please be kind if I am redundant or if I miss some things...

Me: I am back in the world of puffer users, and it was a life saver. I now breathe so much better, and my mind is clearer too... I guess I was slightly deprived of oxygen before ;) Unfortunately, I have had a cold almost continually since the beginning of April, and I am a little tire of huffing and puffing. For my 6th anniversary as a mom (my son's birthday!), I "ran" a 5k. Now, I was supposed to slowly practice to make it there, but that didn't happen, for various reason, so that 5k was my very first run in 10 years. You can say ouch. And to top it off, I was continuously having coughing fits thanks to Mr. Cold. I was miserable, almost vomiting, then I saw a sign far away: 1km. Yes!!! I was ready to quit before even making it to the first km!!!! I do intend to start running a little again, when that cold finally leaves me alone. I am also supposed to start my first university class...now... but today I am truly dreading it. I am scared senseless. Silly me!

Husband: He is fine. Grumpy as always, but fine.

Luke: He is allowed to watch some television again, but we keep it to a minimum. He still tends to become a little ADHD/psycho when some variables are met: tv+less sleep+full moon. I know Astrogeek will cringe at the mention of the moon, but it is true that the moodiness always seem to happen around that time ;) He is done most of the workbooks he was supposed to do for the year except for one. We are going to start "grade 1" shortly. He is done reading all the Magic Tree House Books and is now moving on to more challenging work. As for math, he has done very little this year, so he is still at the same point, multiple digit addition/subtraction, beginning with multiplications. He is finally starting to attempt to write on his own, but he has no confidence in his capacity to spell. What a shame! He also just announced me that doing ballet was a great mistake, he doesn't like it so much anymore :D

Mia: She has changed so much it is hard to believe she is the same child! Her speech is easy to understand to many adults (those used to listening to children, at least!) She did some skating class and went from spending her first class on her back to being able to skate and getting up on her own. She does ballet but is as graceful as a hippo. What REALLY baffles me is that she started a workbook Luke was doing at the same age... but she understands it much faster!!! She can't count or read the way he did, but she is doing very well. I will not push her, but as long as she wants to do school like her big brother, I'll go with that! :D

Rose: Well, Rose is Rose! :D She climbs over all the furniture (even dressers, kitchen table, etc), understands when we talk to her, responds by yes or no, even says yummy when she gets chocolate milk ;) Because yes, she can consume dairy now, as long as it is in small quantities. She is a remarkable child!!!

Babies:

Many of our friends are expecting, and it is very exciting. I will even be an auntie again this fall. Ok, don't ask, I know the question "Do you want more?" Well.... ask again later ;)
