My disgusting daughters

A few days ago, Mia found an old sippy cup under the couch... and it had been lost probably for about 2 weeks. Of course, this happened while I was out of the living room, so she gave it to her little sister right away. Long story short, I had to battle the baby, who would not let go of her bottle, and when I poured it in the sink, it was the consistency of cottage cheese. She didn't get sick.

Now, everyone has a nasty cold, and the kids have that nasty chest cough, and last night, I thought I heard someone vomit, but since the baby wimpered at the same time and my older two kids were snoring peacefully, I thought nothing of it. Rosa kept me up all night, and I heard those 3 kids cough all night.

Now, in the morning, daddy, who fell asleep watching tv, was awaken by a very happy little Amelia who gave him something and told him "Look, Daddy, I puked!" and she seemed very proud of it. So my husband felt, smelt the chunk our daughter had given him, so he opens his eyes and realizes she is covered in that stuff. She says she puked in her bed, so daddy goes to clean up... and couldn't see a thing, so... Amelia flips her pillow, to show the side that was soiled! Imagine, that 3 year old vomitted, got all covered, and instead of crying like a normal child would, she flipped her pillow and went right back to sleep!

I'm not sure whether I should praise her or tell her how disgusting that was! lol

I think neither would be the best solution: maybe she was just too sleepy to even realize what happened? As I am sure you already did,I believe you should reassure her that whatever the time, she can call for your help and that you will come. You are such a good mommy!
