"Just because I speak slow doesn't mean I'm stupid" or Miranda are always right.

In my husband's favourite chick flick, "Sweet Home Alabama", the red neck ex says "Just because I speak slow doesn't mean I'm stupid". Honestly, that's something I should have taken more seriously.

When I talked about my second child being a "Dumb Blonde", Miranda reminded me not to judge her to hastily, and all that good stuff, and once again, I should have listened, especially since her advice is usually gold.

Well...

Tonight, goldilocks, yes, my Amelia, read her first word. She came by me, pointed to a button on the microwave and said "What's that? That's pizza!". And she was right, it was the pizza button. We don't use it. I had never told her. Luca swears he never told her and so does daddy. The only think I can imagine is that we live close to a pizzeria where the word pizza is written all over... but still...

Well, I should have guessed her first word would be related to food. To each his priorities!




P.S.: Why didn't I add my dad in the title? Because although he is often right, he is also very often wrong and I will NEVER give him a chance to brag about that one! :D
